The copper has been treated with Renaissance Wax to protect the shine from oxidising and colour change. For a longer lasting protection, you could choose to paint with clear nail varnish. Or, if you like a patina, leave it and see what fabulous colours it will go over time.
Each one comes with a small polishing cloth.
