Cu Nine & Twenty

Autumn brings a riot of colour in changing lights and landscapes, all satisfyingly crunched below our feet. It's also the season where we nod to previous traditions to ward off less favourable spirits through winter.

In this collection, we use lots of copper with complementary colours of autumn. Bringing a blast of colour and shine to wear over jumpers and chunky clothes.

We also include a take on a traditional talisman of hag stones to protect from sneaky spirits or, some say to see into fairy realms.

The collection name? Well, it is all elemental.... Cu is the chemical symbol for copper and 29 is the atomic number.

Copper smithing

This is the forming of shapes in copper using traditional tools and methods. Copper can be infinitely recycled so what you are wearing now could be around for a very long time.

Do you know where copper is used?

It is very good at conducting electricity. It is used to transport electricity from where it is generated to the sockets in your home and into your devices.
