Hello there!

What would you like to know? I am a polycraft with ideas beyond life expectancy. With an artistic creative, yet engineering brain, I have always been a maker, a solver of problems, a quirky sense of fun. A joyseeker and dopamine junkie.

I like to see light in the dark, find ways to make things better without impinging on lives of others, human or in nature.

I am a sustainability professional, having worked in big institutions, charities and small communities all over the planet, I get the importance of not messing things up for others. Solving problems without ( hopefully) creating others, as us humans seem to excel at!

My ideas come from a multitude of places, a lot in nature and landscapes, but also from the built environment. Linking these to what will bring people joy by wearing or using or just looking at something.

My first job was making high quality pewter jewellery and functional decorative homeware with Pewtermill Crafts in the Ayrshire Valleys in Scotland.

I trained in stained glass and then painting and drawing at Glasgow School of Art (admittedly at summer school).

Later, I went on to co-found a giant puppet theatre community group. The group is small, the puppets are giant. Seen around Buxton Carnival and Fringe, Two Left Hands is a completely inclusive group with the aim to encourage creativity in those who think they aren't creative.

I am a committee member of Stone and Water, a small environmental arts group delivering nature-based workshops across the Peak District.

I trained in silversmithing with Stockport Jewellery School.
